Last weekend, we embarked on the annual cub district outing. The destination this time was Chester Zoo, to see the weird and wonderful animals the zoo has to offer. It was an early start for all as we meet at 8:30am, once we had all the cubs we were off ! In little over an hour we arrived and for once we were blessed with bright sunshine to enjoy the zoo. Throughout the day we visited most the inhabitants of the zoo: The bats, monkeys and rhino’s were the cubs favorites. Then a “quick” visit to the gift shop and we were off back home.
